At The Old Market Assembly they love parties. They love carnivals. They love the New Orleans Carnival party they’re throwing for New Years Eve – and you’re all invited!

Dust off the dancing shoes, chuck garlands round your neck, flowers in your hair and forget all about England’s dreary rain to see in 2016 like it’s the subtropics of America’s soulful South.

Head on down for a night of live music, DJs, dancing, decor and a few extra surprises to boot. Go dressed to impress in your most dazzling threads and fill the Assembly with colour!

Steampunk Circus Ball @ Tobacco Factory // Thurs 31st Dec (7.30pm) // Cost: £35

The legendary Tobacco Factory New Year’s Eve party goes Steampunk this year.

The many spaces of the ground floor of the Tobacco Factory and upstairs at Tobacco Factory Theatres, will be teaming with performance – with quirky circus and fire performers, contortionists and burlesque, live bands, DJs, podium performers in the Café Bar, Some Like It Hot inspired Speakeasy in the Factory Theatre Bar, and a whole host of Indian inspired oddness with Bombay Bazaar in the Thali Cafe

Outside, the mini Big Top will be home to DJs and circus acts, plus there will be a hot food court where ticket holders can use their food voucher, included with the ticket price.

If you want to celebrate the New Year in style, this is the place to be.

Produced in collaboration with Cirque Bijou, Food and Theatre and Thali Cafe.
