15_InMotionReturning to Bristol in October, In:Motion unites an ambitious selection of the world’s most exciting artists, labels and promoters for a 12-week long series of vast electronic music events in a truly unique setting.

Everyone from Andy C to Annie Mac & José González are lined up to perform, in what promises to be the best series yet.

See three of Bristol’s iconic cranes outside M-Shed come to life in a one off spectacular performance from Pervasive Media Studio resident Laura Kriefman. A stunning collaboration that blends lights, rowing boats, choirs, live music from RSVP Bhangra, the UK’s number one bhangra band, and, of course, choreographed synchronised cranes, don’t miss this one of a kind opportunity to see the Harbourside transformed in a completely unique way.

The show will last 40 minutes and will take place on the water next to Arnolfini just as twilight descends upon the city. Everything is free – just arrive and enjoy on the night! It will be best viewed from outside the Arnolfini or Lloyds Amphitheatre.

 

Crane Dance Bristol has been devised and choreographed by Laura Kriefman as part of the inaugural The Space/WIRED Creative Fellowshipand is a collaboration between MShed, Underfall Yard, RSVP, The Balmoral, Bristol Gig Club, Bristol Channel Social Rowers and is supported by Watershed. Lighting designed by Studio 360.

Tyntesfield in association with Luna Cinema and the BFI present Friday night at the movies!

Relax on Tyntesfield’s sweeping lawns with lighting provided by the stars and features courtesy of Luna Cinema and the BFI. 

On the Friday they will have a West Country classic, ‘Hot Fuzz’ & on Saturday the film will be ‘Shaun the Sheep’. The films will be preceded by unique heritage footage newly-digitised by the BFI.
