What: Novel Writers: Sarah Perry // Where: Spike Island // When: Thursday 29th Jan (6.30pm) // Cost: £5/£3 concessions (booking advised) 

In a new enterprise Spike Island, in partnership with Bristol Festival of Ideas, invites a series of debut novelist to read from, and discuss their work, exploring theme, structure and the craft of writing.

This week sees After Me Comes The Flood author Sarah Perry in attendance to discuss her elegant, gently sinister and psychologically complex debut novel.

Bristol Winter Cider Festival 2015 @ Passenger Shed // Fri 30th – Sat 31st Jan

On offer will be over 100 ciders and perries including award-winning ciders from Ben Crossmans, Richs, Broadoak and Hecks (Somerset), Gwatkin (Herefordshire), Gwynt Y Ddraig (Wales), and Mr. Whiteheads (Hampshire).
